  1. As a parent of a high school student, I am most grateful for the veteran teachers our kids are exposed to. Their teaching experiences and knowledge keep our kids focused. They know how to build relationships with students and hopefully mentor teachers coming to our schools. Another thing to cherish is the community of parents, citizens, students that have been supporting our basketball teams! It is great to see people coming out, filling the gym and cheering our teams on. It continues to prove that our schools are our communities – we need to keep them open and keep our communities!

    • Yes keep our own schools in our own communities!! Great to see everybody out to the games this year!

    • You articulate so well what I hear all the time! Though our communities are different, culturally, I hear the very same priorities expressed by people on the coast.

The teacher student relationship is paramount, and is constantly undermined isn’t it?
