Mea culpa…

facepalmMany thanks for all of the responses to our latest poll!  It is ongoing, so if you haven’t weighed in yet, there is still time — ( just click here!  ).

But before you go, would you kindly help correct a glaring omission?  ….and tell us what you think of an idea that has piqued so much interest, it deserved to be included in our poll.   So sorry, I plum forgot!  Thank you to all who reminded me:)

Some of you may have had trouble with the link? Sorry again! I think it is fixed now:)

  2. Parents and citizens have the opportunity through the Visions Committee meetings, polls, etc. to express to administration what your “visions” are for RSU 50. If we do not participate, our administration and school board members will decide for us! Thank you, Lisa, for taking the time to keep us informed and educated! We need to keep in mind: “It’s never over unless you give up.”

    • You’re very welcome! I’m happy to help. People often become discouraged with the length of the process, but you’re right — it isn’t over until the fat lady sings…..

You will have a wonderful opportunity to build a vision on, well, tentatively, February 10th. It’s a nice format because people will receive post-it notes and given ample time to write on them. Of these, they will build a gallery of aspirations to hang in the gym for all to see. In addition, people can address the committee and participate in table discussions.

Not everyone is comfortable with standing up and telling the Board, publicly, what they expect, and that’s understandable. It’s one reason I started this blog. They deserve to be heard as much as anyone else.
